Mae de la Calzada

Founder/Shop Manager

At a young age, Mae learned the value of hard work, doing what you love, loving what you do, and to be of service to others. With proven experience in a fast-paced private and public sector, her strong background in all aspects of business and customer service helped Mae build and create LadyParts.

Working for UCSF as a Division and Principal Investigator Assistant earned Mae a reputation for organization, time management and delivering results that surpass company goals and objectives. As the Program Coordinator and Health Educator at Asian-American Recovery Services, creating the STAY Safe High School Program, Mae was able to tap into her creative energy shaping a program that inspired young teens to support each other.

After graduating from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2006, Mae was driven to create LadyParts.  Seeing her mom being ripped off changed the course of her life.  Mae immersed herself in learning anything and everything she could about auto repair.  She found amazing people in the industry who joined her in her mission.  Mae then took courses in Automotive Technology at Skyline College and has earned her Certification as an Automotive Services and Repair Shop Manager from the largest most successful Automotive Repair Consulting company in the U.S., completing an extensive Automotive Repair Management and Service Training.  Mae continues her education in automotive technology and business management.  She loves to learn, constantly gaining new tools to better improve LadyParts services in the front and the back of the shop.

Combined with a team-oriented spirit and interpersonal skills, Mae leads her team with intensity and passion, committed to deliver impeccable service with integrity.
